Clark’s mixed media art uses metallic foils to create dynamic conversations between constancy and chaos. Working with ordinary products and reimagining their use in abstraction, Clark manipulates heat and pressure to adhere to flat elements to varied surfaces. The results are pieces that reflect light in diffuse patterns producing depth and luminosity that vary with the shifting light.
Clark melds the practical functionality of graphic design – especially shape and form – with Fine Art. The resulting permeability between disciplines pushes Clark to explore the physical boundaries of her chosen mediums with innovations in modern processes and constant experimentation with materials. Her award-winning works have been featured in international publications and media and exhibited in The Smithsonian.
